I remember Dave talking about going to Japan for Ruby conference. Well, here’s his keynote. It’s simply awesome. The videos are in four parts.

What Is RubyHead.com Worth?

I thought it was interesting how this website is evaluating the value of a website. Here’s the result of RubyHead.com.

PDF::Writer Maintainer

Thanks to Austin Ziegler and his efforts, PDF::Writer makes generating PDFs really really simple using Ruby. If you’d like to find out how (just in case you don’t know about this), he also has written an excellent tutorial here.

In his blog post in August, Austin Ziegler is looking for someone to take over the duty of maintaining PDF::Writer. Since I didn’t hear any announcement, I assume that he didn’t find anyone yet. If I’m wrong, please post a comment here. I just hope that someone would take over this project if he can’t do it. It’s really awesome tool and would hate to see it die.

The Ruby Connector

SapphireSteel Software has a neat widget that allows C# program to access Ruby.  It’s nice that it does not require their Ruby In Steel and can be used with standard installation of Visual Studio.  For me, I like the fact that I can use it to create validation scripts using Ruby in my C#/.NET app.

Webistrano – Easy Capistrano Deployment

Here’s something really interesting, a Web UI for Capistrano.  I haven’t finished reviewing the code, but it’s at 1.0 right now and even has screencasts.  Everyone should check this out.

The link.
